Next comes layout. Everything gets measured from a centerline, because while I believe the sides of the board are parallel, I can't be 100% sure, and since everything on a guitar is measured against a center line anyway, I just stick with that. As you can see, I've already drilled the locating holes (the same jig as for the tops, though I have to use it upside down or the holes might not line up), and I've drawn the outline of the guitar so I know where I need to rout for the vacuum hold down. I also drew the layout for the maple runners.
