Vervain hummingbird nest

The hike arranged by the Natural History society to look at the Jamaican Iguana habitat in the Hellshire hills, didn't yield any iguanas, but we did see a few other interesting sights.

 

The vervain hummingbird is the second smallest bird in the world. The bee huumingbird in Cuba I believe is the smallest.
