The PLPR1 test train spent the first 6 hours of its journey visiting Okehampton 3 times in preparation for the line's reopening later in the month; it was running 47mins late at this point due to flooding near Flaxbourton.
I had planned to get this from the A38 road bridge at Gossington, however 6 mins before it was due a large cloud rolled in so I dashed south to get a sunny shot, albeit slightly back lit; and yes the sun was out at Gossington A38 as the cloud evaporated just before it came!
43272 was the rear power car, and the coaches were 977868
