The machine seemed to be some sort of modified pile driver. The big white barrel attached to the pile-driver's head seemed to house the tapes that were being injected into the ground. Watching the pile driver's shaft, it looked like it might be injecting the tapes around 10 or 15 meters down. After injecting, the workers would tear the exposed end off from the spool, loop the other end back up into the injector head, and the whole process would be repeated.

 

I have no clue what this is for.
