Nugget Point
This week I received some fantastic news that my astro shot from Nugget Point was awarded Champion image at the 2017 Laurie Thomas New Zealand Landscape competition. This is pretty special for me, I feel really quite honoured to have my image selected from among such an outstanding field of images, and looking back at previous winners is quite humbling.
This version was shot about 15 minutes earlier and includes a bit more of the Aurora on the right of the image than the 'original': gibsondesignnz.wixsite.com/photography/fullscreen-page/co... - please get in touch if you would like a print.
After a couple of really hideous days' weather I'm hoping that perhaps we'll get some nice days soon and I can drag the camera out somewhere...
