Power Within [74]

Power Within was designed by Shamol Ali, who is studying for an OCR Level 2 Technical Diploma in Art and Design at Walsall College. Shamol is deaf and relies on British Sign Language to communicate. He explored how hand muscles work when signing, and then used his owlet to represent muscular movement when an owl flies. His inspiration came from Leonardo da Vinci, Damian Hurst, Gunther von Hagens, and Greek sculpture.
