Cosina CT1G

A small, lightweight SLR with a Pentax K mount and Cosina 50mm f2 lens.

 

The CT-1 cameras were introduced in 1979. This version is the budget version without a self-timer. The camera body is mostly plastic and feels cheap. But it's a very nice camera to operate and the layout and design has had quite a legacy, as you can read here:

I picked the camera and lens up for the princely sum of £5, primarily for it's K mount lens. Apparently it’s the same lens as the K mount Petri 50mm f2 - a lens I very much enjoy using.
