Re-united after 64 years
The Asahi Pentax 'AP', one of the earliest mass-market SLRs from Japan, and two of the lenses that were sold with the camera from 1957.
My copy of the camera was originally paired with a Takumar 58mm f2, on the right. And in December last year, I acquired the Takumar 55mm f2.2 now on the camera.
Two different lens types - the Takumar 58mm is a Sonnar type, and the 55mm a Gaussian type. Neither type was continued into the later Takumar 55mm's - which used a classic Ultron design.
