Poppy head halves

These poppies grow in our local park. I’ve never seen the inside of a poppy head before. I cut this one in half straight down the middle to take a look.

 

Found it hard to focus on all the different little seeds across the two halves, so photographed this using Pixel Shift (an in-camera stack of multiple images). With a Macro-Takumar 50/4 lens.
