John Surtees driving his Cooper T53 Climax out of the paddock on practice day for the 1961 British Grand Prix.

The streamlined bodywork on this Yeoman Credit Racing Team's Cooper T53 Climax make it look more like a Lotus than a Cooper.

John Surtees qualified in 10th. place on the starting grid but he had to retire at Beecher's Bend on lap 23 with no final drive.
