Yashica FR, FR I and FR II
Yashica FR with Yashica DSB 1.9/50
Yashica FR I with Yashica ML 1.7/50 and Yashica Winder
Yashica FR II with Yashica ML 2/50
I've already presented the FR I and FR II, now I can display the entire gang. A usual trio of that time: completely manually (FR), auto exposure only (FR II) and as top model automatic exposure and manual settings (FR I). A cooperation with Carl Zeiss enabled Yashica to produce cameras bearing the Contax brand, unsurprisingly Yashica presented cameras with identical lens mount bearing their own name, so that the renowned Zeiss lenses - intended for the pricey Contax SLRs - can be used too. In contemporary photo magazines I found lots of advertisings showing FR models with mounted Zeiss lenses. In my experience Yashica's own lenses (Yashica ML) are pretty good lenses too.
