EOS 50D Test 1600 ASA

EOS 50D - 100mm f2.8 Macro lens, at 1600 ASA. 1/125 at f11. The EOS50D is reported to be much better with noise at high ASA ratings. What do you think? Seems to be true. My EOS 35D is horrible at 1600. This pic is slightly cropped compared with following shot.
