St Govan's Chapel, Pembrokeshire, Wales

This little chapel is thought to be as old as the 6th Century. It lies in a cleft in the rocks and to get to it you have to descend a steep set of steps. It is said that no-one can count the number of steps going down and going back up and get the same number. I doubted this but it was true for me. There are about 74. There is an excellent page on this here www.revjones.fsnet.co.uk/govan/govan.html
