I don't know if we will get snow this year, but I found this old fishing photo of a 30 acre lake known as Aquatels. Where I fished a lot as a child, and on and off in my adult years. Unfortunately it is now a wakeboarding centre set up, with participants being pulled around the lake on cables. Suspended from seven pylons type frames rising from the water. So the main body of water is out of bounds to fisherman now.
I usually fish with one or two rods only, but in the winter months sometimes have three rods set up. One on standby with lead attached in case I get a run, I can recast out a fresh rod on same spot faster then. In cold conditions although we fish out of tents (bivvys). Your body metabolism seems to be much slower. So re-setting up can take longer, especially if you have been at the lake for 3 or 4 nights.
