Release the Kraken!!

Another vacation shot. I brought a tripod with a small platform that I covered in sand. The elevated diorama blended nearly seamlessly with the real environment.

 

I considered photoshopping the real beach-goer out of the picture but I think she fits with the scale and is moving away from the Kraken, so she stays.

 

Surprisingly, no strange looks from passersby as I set up my toys and diorama platform.
