Long legs, long neck - pros - can reach juicy leaves; cons - really tough to get a drink of water!
Giraffe coming for a drink at the okaukuejo watering hole, Etosha national park, Namibia. Almost painfully comic to watch them slowly spread their front legs so they can get to the point where they can reach. when they come in pairs you will notice that one drinks while one watches, then vice versa. Poor light and a bridge camera, and too much to do to spend my life photoshopping old snaps - but i kinda like it.
