Powerful water
At my last visit to Godafoss, I shot one of my favorite Iceland images (flic.kr/p/2eAK2dL). So I was excited to visit this majestic waterfall again. Since our last visit some things had changed: they built a new parking site (probably a parking fee follows), new ways with benches and installed safety measures. It gets more and more touristic in Iceland, some say that with these many visitors the magic of Iceland vanishes - I agree partly for some main sites at the "rush hour", but there is still lots of things to discover.
My last photo I took from the shore of the river, but this time the path to the stairs was blocked by a chain. After checking the terrain, I decided to ignore this safety measure and continued my way down, where I took this image. After I went down, about 20 people followed my bad example ...
