A walk through golden woodland

That morning I hoped for foggy weather, so I got up early and chose a woodland close to a river. There was a bit of haze in the air, but no real fog. I experimented with some compositions and came up with this image, which I am happy with.

 

BTW - In the description of my last image I talked about my maybe last chance for autumn photography in this year. This image I took a day earlier, but processed it later.
