Gordon put his hands over his face in frustration. He had been searching through files trying to find any useful evidence against the False Facers to prove that they were behind the attempt of murdering Mayor Hill. They arrested the man who tried to assassinate him; Jimmy Jalone, and hasn't said a single word since he left the City Hall and into the cell. Commissioner Bilbao opens the door.
Loeb: “Look Gordon, you’ve been up for 8 hours trying to find evidence, just go home and take the day off.”
Gordon: “Look, I have a meeting with Gotham’s D.A in a couple of hours, and need to present him with some evidence to prove that the False Facers are behind it. I only have one file that explains that once the False Facers attacked Gotham Harbor to steal a shipment meant for Mayor Hill, and that's it. I need way more to be able to prove that the false facers are behind this.”
Loeb: “How long towards the trial?”
Gordon: “4 days.”
Loeb: “4 days! That’s insane, how did that happen?”
Gordon: “I don’t know, just so happen that there wasn’t any trials on the schedule.”
Loeb: “Then I’ll leave you to it.”
Loeb walks out and shuts the door behind him, and Gordon keeps looking through the files…
7:00 am
D.A’s office
Harvey: “Pleasure to see you Lieutenant Gordon.”
Harvey Dent shook Gordon’s hand.
Gordon: “Indeed, I’ve heard a lot about you ‘Gotham’s White Knight’.”
Harvey: “Yeah, fun nickname. Though I do want to see the evidence that you promised to show me.”
Gordon: “Of course.”
Gordon pushes the folder onto Harvey’s desk. He picks it up to examine.
Harvey: “Is this is it?”
Gordon: “I know it’s not enough…”
Harvey: “You damn straight it isn’t enough. I mean it’s good, but not enough to put Black Mask and the False Facers into prison for a reasonable sentence.”
Gordon: “How much do you think I will need.”
Harvey: “At least a dozen more cases of The False Facers committing a felony or crime and a couple for Black Mask, and you also have to find and arrest these guys. It’s going to take a miracle to do all this in 4 days.”
Gordon paces around the office, looking at photographs of biggest successes and wondering if he would be able to pull this off in 4 days.
Gordon: “I’m going to try my best”
Harvey: “I’m not sure your best will be enough, but good luck to you, and hopefully I will see you in 4 days with this evidence.
Gordon: “Thanks for meeting with me Harvey..”
Harvey: “Anytime.”
Gordon leaves his office, the door shuts loudly behind him.
9:00 am
GCPD Building
Gordon gets out of his car and runs into the GCPD building. He goes into the evidence locker and sits in his chair. He ponders thinking of what to do. He needs to get enough evidence to convict Mr. Jalone, Black Mask, and the entirety of the False Facers. He then realizes that Roman Sionis file would have a lot of info regarding the False Facers and his other identity. He looks in the file cabinet and pulls out his file, there is nothing there, except a footprint imprinted on the back of file. Gordon realizes that someone broke into the evidence locker and stole some information on Roman Sionis, but where would this evidence be? The answer popped in his head, Sionis industries.
Gordon: “Officer Bilbao, Detective Bullock! I need to see you guys immediately.”
Bilbao: “Alright give me a second.”
Bullock: “Alright I’m coming.”
Gordon proceeds to walk to his office and sits in his chair. Bilbao and Bullock walk in.
Bilbao: “Yes Lieutenant?”
Gordon: “I’m going to fill out a warrant to go search Sionis Industries.”
Bullock: “Wait I know what you're doing; Gordon we checked Sionis Industries 4 times in the past 14 years searching for any file of Black Mask.”
Gordon: “I know, but this convinced me to it.”
Gordon pulls out Sionis’s file and places it on the table, with the footprint right smack on the back. Bullock examines it, while Bilbao stays silent.
Bullock: “The print is fresh, maybe it’s time to visit that hell hole again.”
Gordon: “Not yet, I still have to get this warrant signed by the Judge. I’m going to drive over to his office to have him sign it. In the meantime, go to the lab to have Sarah analyze it. I’ll give you more information on the case when I'm back.”
Gordon Grabbed his coat and his warrant and ran back to his car and drove to the Judge’s office.

Judge’s Office
Gordon rushes to the Judge´s office with the warrant in hand. The Judge greets him.
Judge: “Good morning Lieutenant Gordon, pleasure seeing you.”
Gordon: “I request for you to sign this warrant to search Sionis industries, out of potential information regarding to the attempt of the Mayor's assassination.”
Gordon hands the judge the warrant, the judge examines it. Gordon notices something weird about the Judge's face, it was covered in sweat, and his hand was trembling as he looked over the warrant.
Judge: “I'm sorry but I can accept any warrants in the span of 7 days before a trial.”
Gordon: “Wait, I-”
Judge: “I am sorry Jim, but I do have to get going.”
The Judge walks away as Gordon stands speechless. He looks at the Judge's hand as he walks away, he notices something else
His hand stopped shaking....
