This anemone, one flower... showing one of the many ways they have to attract their pollinators.

The red bowl-shaped petals that surround a large black mass containing the anthers and the female reproductive organs, stamens. The flowers are insect-pollinated, and offer only pollen as food reward to visitors.

Anemone coronaria (poppy anemone popularly in English, Spanish marigold, "dağ lalesi" in Turkish, "Kalanit" in Hebrew, "Shaqa'iq An-Nu'man" in Arabic, Ger: Garten-Anemone, Czech: sasanka) is a species of flowering plant in the genus Anemone, native to the Mediterranean region.

Be happy and have a great w-e, thanx for your visits, M, (*_*)
