ODE TO JOY CHORUS... BEETHOVEN, Symphony No. 9

BEETHOVEN Symphony No. 9, ODE TO JOY, Ode an Die Freude

For the music lovers, listen here

The words are sung during the final movement, they were taken from the "Ode to Joy", a poem written by Friedrich Schiller in 1785 and revised in 1803, with additions made by the composer. Today, it stands as one of the most played symphonies in the world.

This was what these flowers triggered in me when I took this photo... Winter is stubborn here, now and then a few moments of Spring fragrance in the air... then it is gone again.

But, the earth is moving, breaking the cold crust, green tips are showing, a few daring Snowdrops are out, some shrubs show tender green... yes, soon "Ode to Spring", like this image.
