DRAMA-QUEENS...Parrot Tulips

Parrot Tulips, so frivolous and consumed in each other, looks like a 'theatrical' outcry?

The deeply fringed and ruffled petals of the gorgeous parrot tulip will gradually open right out to form big, bowl-shaped flowers.

Although it is unknown who first brought the tulip to Northwestern Europe, the most widely accepted story is that it was Oghier Ghislain de Busbecq, an ambassador for Emperor Ferdinand I to Suleyman the Magnificent.

Thank you, M, (*_*)
