A GENTLE AUTUMN...

Scarborough, on the North-Yorkshire Heritage coast has a bit of a strange lay-out, pleasant? VERY!

It has a North bay, more for the locals, surfers and on the top of the hill all the hotels with a fabulous view in front of them.

Then there is the point sticking out into the sea, dividing this from the South bay, where all the fun is, the Fair, the harbours, both yachting and fishing, the arcades , Fish&Chips shops, ice-cream parlours, the donkeys...

Now ON the top of that point you have the old (ruin) castle, and a small church with very old graves, still lovingly maintained, that's where we ventured that day!

And were rewarded by tis lovely scene, a young tree, in gold.

Behind all of that, the shops and businesses.

A lovely, mellow Autumn Sunday-afternoon...

With love to you and thank you for ALL your faves and comments, M, (* _ *)
