Images become even more important when a much-loved one has left.
This is Michel with Jim, his son.
It was Autumn, and we drove to a park galled 'Golden Acres' , and in that season, boy, it WAS Golden!
The sun was still warm, the light interesting.
Michel, usually working hard, sat on the bench of an arbor, enjoying the moment, surrounded by big red Begonia, still visited by bees.
Some blooms blown on the ground, when Jim came picked one up and gave it to his dad.
What a charming scene.
A few years later, we revisited and Jim wanted to repeat it.
Nice idea, but virtually impossible.
I was later in the season, so, no flowers... and by the look of it, that Summer: No BEGONIAS...
Still, wonderful moments.
They were such close friends.
