MY VALENTINE'S PRESENT...
#abfav_ROMANTIC_SEASON
My youngest son, he was born on the 14th of February.
He hates to be photographed.
Got him in for some proper portraits with his girlfriend, aaah the things we do for 'LOVE"! LOL.
After the session he relaxed, we laughed and joked, the conversation turned to romanticism and falling in love, he showed us his boxer-shorts to 'prove' he was a TRUE Valentine.
I caught THE moment, knowing how shy he is.
Love is quite an abstract concept, much easier to experience than to explain.
You can compare love to the truth, for you must love to find the truth, but most will find love on more instinct levels.
About the photo, well you know by now that I like a bit different, a more ‘beyond the obvious’, so here’s another approach to the theme Valentine!
I normally do not go for the 'mixed' but here felt it was justified!
I had one shot left on my film, so many times this happened to me.
Developed and printed in the wet darkroom, I hand-coloured the hearts in on this black and white photo.
Nothing digital about this!
Happy Valentine’s day.
Have a romantic day and thank you for your visit, Magda, (*_*)
