PINNED ROPE on the Nausikaa...

Taken on the Nausikaa, a three-mast Clipper.

 

Love ropes, so many different knots, the light was fantastic on the beautiful wood and this 'silky' texture.

Camera here my treasured Nikon F4

 

My preferred lens was the Nikkor 28-200mm.

 

I also worked with a Nikkor 75-300, love the compression.

Had a Nikkor 400mm which I sadly lost at sea...

 

With the Nikon 60mm Macro, I have a love/hate relationship. I love the results but I do not enjoy working with it.

 

The 85mm is fantabulous for portraits.

 

The 24mm a superb wide-angle.

I now work mostly with a 18-300mm.

My preferred film is Fuji(400).

 

I try to use flash AS LITTLE as possible.

 

I often work with a reflector.

 

I only use a tripod if I HAVE to. HIHI, lol

 

 

Now mostly digital unless a clients request a specific camera like Hasselblad, or film... but the lenses and preferences remained the same!
