HAVE A HAPPY SUMMER...

I think most photographers are nervous around sand. That's why you'll mostly find me 'on the rocks'... tee hee

But it had been a long time ago and seemed a great idea to go out for a day in the sand dunes along the Belgian Coast.

Not the beach because my dog needed some shade, I scraped away the soft, hot top-layer of sand till I came to the cooler darker layer for him to lie on. He'd wink at me and then come and sit next to me for a while, watching other dogs, seagulls, children playing with balls and other interesting toys.

He trembled with trepidation, so I calmed him down, he still gave me that look of 'this is my job', gotta keep things together here... him being a Border Collie, a sheepdog, a WORKING dog.

Yes, we took good care of each other. Glad he was there... We've had to miss him since 2006...

Yesterday we went to the coast here in England, back to where we used to go, he was always with us. Filled with mixed feelings, missing him still so very much, feeling good about all the great times we had...yes...life...

Make the most of your Summer, have a lovely time and thanx for your comments, M, (*_*)

WHAT PART of DO NOT USE is it that you DO NOT UNDERSTAND?

I find my images on numerous blogs and websites EVERY DAY, without my permission!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why not view the set as a slide-show?

Also I often upload more than one image at the same time, I see a tendency to only view the last uploaded...
