ILLUMINATI… Tulips

The ‘enlightened”, LOL, or in this case the ‘well lit’, euhhh, or my way?

The lumen (symbol: lm) is the SI derived unit of luminous flux, a measure of the total quantity of visible light emitted by a source.

Brightness (white light output) measures the total amount of light projected in lumens.

The colour brightness specification Colour Light Output measures red, green, and blue each on a nine-point grid, using the same approach as that used to measure brightness.

Parrot tulips, which first appeared in France, found their way to the Netherlands in the Eighteenth century, where they were highly prized and extremely expensive.

They are cup-shaped, fringed, twisted and ruffled tulips decorated with vivid, flame-like splashes, stripes or feathery markings. They came in many colours, here white and pink, a ’softer’ variety.

Have a glorious day and thanx, M, (*_*)
