YORKSHIRE FLAT-CAP and A CHEEKY SMILE…
#AbFav_headgear
At Otley cattle market, before its closure and now demolition due to the foot and mouth disease some years back, on a Saturday it used to be a hive of activity where farmers from all around the Dales and Moors brought their (mostly) sheep and cows to be auctioned.
You’d see the most amazing characters and it was a very social occasion
I had spotted this gentleman, saw Paul (who can be shy about approaching people) go over to him, but the gent was just shaking his head, no.
I winked at Paul and said very confidently (ahem!);” I'll get it...”
And I did, immediately, and look at that smile.
The gent agreed with a twinkle in his eyes.
It proves again, that people are people no matter what, here a bit of kindness and attention from a lady and he was happy to pose.
We had a nice chat afterwards, but I must have that ‘je ne sais quoi’? heeeeeeeeeeee
I often like the discipline of touching back the basics, one camera, one lens, a grainy 400 asa b&w film, and go out there.
Have a kind day and thank you for your visit, M, (*_*)
