A MOTHER
I DO NOT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED WITH FLICKR, IT LOOKS LIKE THEY CHANGED THEIR SETTINGS, SHARPEN etc... View PROPERLY and On Black
A Mother
M is for the miracle of being.
O is for its origin in love.
T is for the tenderness of seeing.
H is for a home no wind can move.
E is for the ecstasy of living.
R is for the recklessness of giving.
I wrote in the description of the b/w, that I first took colour to put them at ease, well, here it is.
I knew it was a risk, there might not be a second chance, but this was the camera I was holding, the other in the back of the car...
I'd love to know what it is and why, that so often people prefer portraits in b/w.
Personally I like them both, but each for their own different qualities.
I was there, that adds an extra dimension, memories, emotions and excitement.
I love the way that bit of 'femininity' peeps out!
My sons and their families are far away from me, I know they love and respect me, but EVERY day is Mother's day, not that just ONE commercial day...
thanx for your time and comments, greatly appreciated, M, (*_*)

Why not view the set as a slide-show?
Also I often upload more than one image at the same time, I see a tendency to only view the last uploaded...
