Help?

I tried a black wash, and some not-so-dry-brushed silver on the XSR (Xperimental Sniper Rifle). I think I went a bit overboard!

 

What do you guys think? Any tips for me?

 

(Armor is by Brick Affliction, painted by me. I added a black wash to it as well)
