gullfoss

Gullfoss (the golden waterfall) is Iceland's most famous waterfall dropping in two steps into a 32m deep canyon. It is fed by glacial water that has turned brownish (golden on a sunny day) due to the sediments it carries. It is located in the canyon of the Hvítá (white) river in southwest Iceland and is one of the stops on Iceland's golden circle tour
