Blossom Lines, Adelaide _4921
An orchard of unknown species*. I thought they may have been some kind of nut tree but have not been able to find any nut tree flowers like them. Can anyone enlighten me? Would be very pleased to know.
@dw47, I have Googled many types of cropping trees but cannot find this flower. It is not a cherry. In looking at the image again it looks as if I've Photoshopped the trees into a field. They do have a surreal quality as @*lisa suggests. There was no direct sun, a very evenly clouded sky hence absolutely no shadows. That may be contributing to the strange appearance.
*Thank you to Tatters:) for this information...
It is Paulownia tomentosa - Empress tree, foxglove-tree, princess-tree, native to China
Orchard, Sprigg Valley Road, Piccadilly, Adelaide Hills
