Colas celebrity 37099 'Merl Evans 1947-2016' comes to a halt under the iconic York roof with the 1Q64 Derby to Neville Hill test train on the 12th December.

Fortunately, the working stuck to it's booked time before the driver let loose on the throttle of the 'tractor' as it roared away from under the stunning York roof and on towards Scarborough. Ironically, 97301 (formerly 37100!!) brought up the rear of the train.
