A little closer look at the costume. After sizing the patterns, cutting out 3 layers of craft foam for each of these two parts, gluing gauze on the back of the flimsier midsection piece, and gluing a wire around the side of the abs section, we hot glued the pieces together and glued more fabric on the back for extra support.
