The Shape of Water

A single drop of water hangs from a petal of a Broadleigh Rose iris. Isn't surface tension wonderful - I'm loving all those hydrogen bonds! The image was done as a 14-shot focus stack using my Raynox DCR-250 mounted on my macro lens. Shooting the focus stack allowed the capture of the refraction in the water drop while keeping the rest of the image very soft.

For Macro Mondays theme 'Pastel'.
