Tiny Star
For Macro Mondays theme 'Star', in honour of Hans Holt.
With lots of trial and error it is possible to achieve a nice starburst on the water droplet hanging from the long thin style that supports the stigma from a hosta flower. The starburst effect is achieved due to diffraction of a narrow beam of light by the nine blades of the stopped-down aperture diaphragm of the macro lens, producing a starburst with 18 points.
