Ode to Joy
Young Brian certainly seems to be enjoying himself, finally able to get outside in the warm spring sunshine, playing on the old, rusty garden swing, showing off his joie de vivre. He really looks like he is smiling so the whole world can smile with him!
For Macro Mondays theme 'Rust'.
Searching for rusty articles in the shed, I came across our old corkscrew ground stake used for tethering dogs - this hadn't been used for years, hence all the rust. The ring that Brian is swinging on is where a dog lead would have been attached. The corkscrew stake was set up outside in the sunshine above very long grass. Some Blu Tack held the ring firmly in position, and tilting the camera helped to create a sense of motion by the 'swing'.
No snails were harmed in the making of this photograph.
