For Macro Mondays theme 'Spiral'.
I find snails delightful and comical subjects, but this turned out to be an exercise in 'herding snails'. These snails are juveniles with shells barely 1 cm across and very badly behaved.
No snails were harmed in the process of making this image. They were kept well watered, munching on pieces of hosta, and returned to where I found them as quickly as possible.
