For Macro Mondays theme 'Inspired by a Song'...Tougher Than the Rest by Bruce Springsteen.
I went into the woodland with a few titles in my head that were potentially inspiring. As the weather has been very mild I hoped to find something interesting. A couple of weeks ago I had found a few small fungi, but this proved more difficult than previously, and it was only after quite some while of sifting through the leaf litter that I eventually uncovered this tiny (1 cm) Mycena specimen STAYIN' ALIVE, but clearly LIVIN' ON A PRAYER. It was the only one I found that day, so it must have been TOUGHER THAN THE REST...
