It's Steph Time. (Headline in today's San Francisco Chronicle's Sporting Green) We are in the midst of a major phenomenon. Yes, if we are lucky we are just at the beginning. Why? So many people around the world are talking about #stephcurry in terms like #fun #exciting and #unique. But there are many past and present who feel slighted and this is where we need to pause and think? As a fan of professional #basketball and the #NBA in particular, I have followed some of the best point guards in a lifetime full of thrills: #magicjohnson, #oscarrobertson, #johnstockton, #isiahthomas #chrispaul, #stevenash, #jasonkidd, #waltfrazier and many others, I have to admit I am totally astounded, bedazzled and thrilled with what #Steph is doing this season. Of course guys like #chrispaul, #russellwestbrook, #damianlillard #kyrieirving, #johnwall are pretty amazing. But #itisstephtime now! Since the #unbelievable start of the season, #stephencurry2pointzero is doing things not just with his killer #3pointers, but his #ballhandling, #passing, #steals and running of the team (which is one of his most overlooked skills). Have you ever watched him when he is on the bench? He is actively engaged! Go #steph and bring it all home!
