Pain in the ...... Foot
One of the side effects of the chemo agent that I'm on (Doxil), is called Hand Foot Syndrome. Last month I got it BAD. It was a first for me so I wasn't sure what to expect. Blisters are a big part. In addition to that, there was swelling, strange stabbing intermittant pains and a feeling akin to having your feet fall asleep - constantly. I had to stay off my feet for well over 8 days. The other foot had about four blisters and then I had one on the left hand as well.
It wasn't fun.
