Yellow Bitten (Ixobrychus sinensis) is an uncommon breeding resident of Sri Lanka augmented by winter visitors.They can be seen in swamps and marshes in lowland but during the migrating season spread over the Island. Belongs to Ardeidae family.
කහ මැටිකොකා ලංකාවේ ජීවත්වෙන දුලබ පක්ෂියෙකි. සාමාන්යයෙන් පහත රට වගුරු බිම් ආශ්රිතව දැකිය හැකිය. සංක්රමණික කුරුල්ලන්ගේ පැමිණීමත් සමඟ මැදි කඳුකරය දක්වා පැතිරේ
