Cinnamon Bitten (Ixobrychus cinnamomeus) is a scarce breeding resident of Sri Lanka. Distributed in lowlands but rare in hills. May get augmented by migrating birds. Can locate near fresh water marshes and lakes with dense aquatic vegetation. Belongs to Ardeidae family.
කුරුඳු මැටිකොකා ලංකාවේ ජීවත්වෙන දුලබ පක්ෂිකෙි. පහත රට, ඝන ජලජ ශාඛ සහිත මිරිදිය ගොහොරු බිම් සහ වැව් අසල දැකගත හැකිය. සංක්රමණික විශේෂයන්ගෙන්ද මොවුනගේ සංඛ්යාව මදක් ඉහල නැගිය හැකිය.
