Shikra (Accipiter badius) Nominate subspecies A.b. badius is a resident of Sri Lanka. They are distributed throughout the Island. Frequents forests and wooded parts of cites. Belongs to Accipitridae family.

කුරුලුගොයා උප විශේෂය A.b. badius ලංකාවේ දක්නට ලැබෙන පක්ෂියෙකි. දිවයින පුරා පැතිර ඇති මොවුන් වනාන්තර අවට මෙන්ම හොඳින් ගස් ඇති නාගරික පෙදෙස් වල පවා දක්නට ලැබේ.
