Purple rumped Sunbird (Nectarinia zeylonica) Nominate subspecies N.z. zeylonica is a resident of Sri Lanka. Frequents gardens and forest edges with nectar rich plants and found throughout the Island except for very high hills.. Belongs to Nectariniidae family.
මල් සූටික්කා / නිතඹ දම් සූටික්කා. උප විශේෂය N.z. zeylonica ලංකාවේ ගෙවතු සහ වනාන්තර අසල දක්ට ඇති පැණි කුරුල්ලෙකි. මල්පැණි ඇති ගෙවතු සහ වනානතර අසල වීසීමට කැමත ඇති අතර උස කඳු කරයේ දක්නට නොමැත.
