Module 4
Had a couple of hours with dad at Brockhole. This module is really difficult. I'm rather limited to larger flowers as my camera can't focus closer than 2m at the longer end of the zoom and at the widest angle, its about half a metre. So I have to balance zooming, distance to the subject and subject size to get a pleasing image. I had a few nice pictures where the background was too busy, mainly down to having too much space around the flower.
But on this one, there was woodland a good 50m from the flower that nicely filled the background, whilst being on a raised terrace meant the nearer ground wasn't in the shot.
