Soar & be free

I would ask, "do you like the beach?"

"you'll be alright" you'd say to me & we would both laugh.

You couldn't remember if you liked dogs or cats, winter or summer. but, we always found something to say that would make us laugh together.

You had beautiful, gentle blue eyes. "You must have been quite a ladies man" I'd say...you'd just look at me & softly smile.

Surely I'll remember our time together and your special loving smile & wonderful laugh, for a very long time.
