The Hundales
A view from the seat at Rodger Trod South across The Hundales and back towards the Castle Headland and Cayton Bay with the Yorkshire Wolds the high ground in the far distance.
This image was taken at the beginning of September hence the harvested bales in the fields.
The small white building on the point at Long Nab is an old coastguard lookout station which was used as a lookout for tracking submarines during the Second World War.
Today it serves a more peaceful purpose as a bird watching hide.
