Minneapolis

The TC&W Saint Paul Turn crosses the Mississippi River into Minneapolis' Warehouse District after a brief run to the Commercial that morning. Out of frame to the left was the former site of Great Northern Depot which, from its opening in 1914 to its closure in 1978, was one of the busiest passenger terminals in Minneapolis. A connection once existed between the depot and the Mississippi River Bridge which was used up until the station's closure.
